The following criteria will be used for the Calvin C. Tillery Sr. Memorial Scholarship:

• Excellence in academic performance
  
• Strong character
  
• Personal statement
   

All Applicants must:

• Be a graduating high school senior from the Chicagoland area OR a current college student enrolled at a 2 or 4-year college from the Chicagoland area.

• Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA as well as a personal statement indicating how you would benefit from the scholarship along with a recommendation.

• Please note: The Letter of Recommendation should be signed and provided by one of your teachers, administrators, counselors, employers or another individual with significant knowledge of your experience and aptitude. The Letter of Recommendation should include your name.
